My darling Heather,

My life forever changed on the day we met. From an existence filled with shadowy regret and self-doubt, you entered my world and filled it with the heartfelt gifts of compassion, tenderness and devotion.

In the months we've shared, we have only grown closer together. Opening our lives to each other...sharing our triumphs and our sorrows. Investing in each other. And although we've had to bide our time during those terrible weeks between visits, we've always made the most of those fleeting moments together to reaffirm our love and devotion.

Despite the vast physical distance between us, I believe that we have found in each other a bond that surpasses all obstacles. Each of our journeys to one another has been a homecoming - regardless of where we laid our heads.
